"Finding accommodation is one of the most difficult issues to deal with for a student wishing to study in Bologna. As a matter of fact Bologna is relatively small town and hosts one of the biggest among the Italian Universities: the resident population counts about 370,00 units and the registered students are about 100,000. Most students, moreover, would like to live in the historical centre (which is an extremely limited area) and this makes the accommodation search even more difficult. in addition to that those exchange students who only spend a few months in our town have a further problem: landlords prefer to rent their apartments to the same student/group of students for a few years, so that they do not need to find new tenants after a short time. This situation results on one hand in a scarcity of accommodation offers for international students and on the other hand prices are quite high (Bologna is one of the one most expensive towns in Italy as far as rents are concerned, coming after only Milan and Rome).  "

I added up an estimate cost for five months (with rent, bills, groceries, meals out, club, bus pass and movies) :2195 euros which is about 2,800. It will probably be more than that but at least it will be under 4,000!

Ok so I have many comments. 1.) I love all of the widgets you found for your blog! I may steal some cuz they're cool. 2.) Good job with figuring out your budget! I need to do that still. Also, I like how you use commas instead of periods to make it more Italian! 3.) The title of your blog with the cool Bologna picture looks really good. 4.) I got my visa!!! Also I found out that I'm going to be interning for Stella McCartney. I'm excited! 5.) Did we determine that we would not be at the airport at the same time on January 11? When are you flying and on what airline? 6.) I love you!!!!!
